Hotel du Vin commissioned us to review the packaging for their de Redcliffe wine range, to reflect a significant lift in wine quality. Our advice to them was that their audience wouldn’t believe the quality promise if the existing brand remained.
Our task became to create a new premium brand from the ground up.
Our challenge included naming, identity, positioning and bottle colours and shapes. Label design consistency across the varietal range was needed while competing strongly on-shelf. We also developed a full trade launch strategy and collateral, consumer marketing collateral and point of sale material.
