EBOS is an extraordinary company. But it’s complicated to explain. How do you tell a complicated story in a way that people are engaged to stick with it? That was our task for the 2013 edition of the EBOS annual report.
EBOS is a company that has grown from revenues of $9m 30 years ago to $6 billion today, along the way acquiring 19 businesses in 12 years to become the leading Australasian marketer, wholesaler and distributor of healthcare, medical and pharmaceutical products and a leading Australasian animal care products distributor.
Having just swallowed an Australian company four times their size, EBOS suddenly was firmly on the radar of major listed companies in New Zealand. And so flying a little under that radar was no longer the appropriate position for them. It was time to be bolder and clearer about telling their story. We employed carefully constructed graphic tools and an extended infographic treatment to engage readers with our message.
