Over the past couple of years we’ve seen highs and lows in the ‘Garden City’ with various piles of rubble being moved and what appeared quite slow progress to some. Yesterday I felt the city centre had a quiet optimism with rubble gone from many sites and foundations being laid for a city that will prove to be a real landmark destination. We met with some new and familiar people who all had the same upbeat vibe. The temporary city centre shopping experience is very small but operating and it’s good to see smatterings of our work around… for CERA, CCDU, Future Christchurch and the ‘Coming Up campaign’.
